  • We know that a comprehensive evaluation is a big financial commitment. The cost really comes down to the time and specialized care that goes into the process. Most people are surprised to learn that a typical evaluation involves 15 to 20+ hours of professional work—much of it happening after you leave our office.

Here is what goes into that investment:

    • Expert "Untangling": Our team has specialized training in neuroaffirming care. We don’t just look for a label; we spend hours looking at the nuance between things like Autism, ADHD, and anxiety to make sure we’re getting the full story right.

    • The "Hidden" Hours: For every hour we spend together in person, we spend several more scoring your results, reviewing history or school records, and connecting the dots. It’s a lot of "detective work" to make sure our conclusions are accurate and helpful.

    • A Complete Picture (Not Just a Snapshot): Instead of just doing one or two quick tasks, we use a variety of specialized tools to look at the big picture. This helps us see how different parts of your thinking and feeling work together. It’s the difference between a quick "yes/no" diagnosis and a deep understanding that actually helps you get the right support in school or at work.

    • A Roadmap Built for You: At the end, you get a custom-written report that explains exactly what we found. This isn't a form letter—it’s a personal guide with specific, real-world steps to help you navigate life, school, or your career.

Our goal is for you to receive a clear, accurate understanding now, you can stop the "trial and error" and start using strategies that actually work for your brain.

  • No. While we often collaborate with medical providers, you do not need a formal referral to schedule an initial consultation. We believe individuals and parents are the primary experts on their own needs. That said, a provider can make a referral and we can reach out directly to you, if that is easier to manage.

  • A strengths-based assessment identifies what an individual naturally does well alongside areas where they may need support. We use this holistic view to leverage your unique abilities in our recommendations, rather than providing a report that only lists deficits.

  • Traditional evaluations often focus on deficits or disorders to be fixed. Our neuro-affirming approach focuses on identifying your unique brain wiring—acknowledging challenges while identifying strengths—to provide a roadmap for support rather than just a list of symptoms.

  • We specialize in untangling complex presentations. Many clients come to us for a second opinion when a previous diagnosis didn’t quite capture their full experience or when they suspect co-occurring conditions (like AudHD) were missed.

  • Yes. We utilize gold-standard, norm-based assessments that meet the rigorous documentation standards required by the College Board and University Disability Services for accommodations.

  • Our clinicians tailor assessments to meet individual client’s needs. We often use breaks, sensory tools, and flexible pacing to improve accessibility. We also have specialized training and understand the value in nonstandardized methods, observations and caregiver data. This ensures we are able to provide meaningful answers regardless of ability level.description
